CANCELLATIONS

Life happens. The car won't start, you awoke with a rumbling tummy or blinding headache. I know that you will ring or message to notify me that you are unable to attend your appointment or that you are delayed. I am grateful for this as it allows me to adjust the treatment time or give your appointment to someone else. Naturally I will automatically re-schedule you back in. ( please do not email me as I don’t have access to these when I am in the cabin) Message Melita on 07478 615497 with as much notice as possible please.

PLEASE NOTE: If you do need to cancel at very short notice. I like to think you’ll book back in to cover the missed slot. If for whatever reason you do not book another slot and commit to it, then sadly I do now charge a fee. This is because I will have turned potential clients away to accommodate your appointment and cannot afford to absorb this loss as I am a solo independent business.

48 HOURS notice 50% of your treatment cost will be taken if you do not re-book.

24 HOURS notice or on the actual day of your appointment. 100% of the treatment cost will be taken if you do not re-book.

GIFT VOUCHERS- Gifted vouchers have a 3 month expiry date upon issue. I try to honour them if booking outside of the 3 month period by a month. Equally if you are booking in via a voucher appointment. The same terms apply that if you cancel your appointment and don’t re-book then your voucher will become void.

 

LATE ARRIVAL

I do understand about traffic delays and unexpected issues. But if for whatever reason you are late for your appointment. I will need to begin your session straight away so may not be able to complete the full duration as this has a knock on effect for my other appointments. Thank you for your understanding.

WHAT IF I AM FEELING UNWELL? IMPORTANT!

If at any point you experience a high temperature, aches/chills, are sneezing or coughing a lot, have a sore throat or become sick. Please let me know straight away, even if it is on the day of your appointment, and I will re-schedule your appointment. I do not get sick pay and am quite vulnerable myself in terms of immunity health, so would be very grateful if you remained at home. Message Melita on 07478 615497

It is worth noting that iff your body is fighting a virus, it will not be helped by receiving a massage or other treatment.

REFUNDS

I do not offer refunds on treatments or products purchased. However I make every effort to ensure that any appointment that is cancelled gets re-scheduled to an alternative slot as soon as possible. Plus I try and resolve any issue with a product to your satisfaction.

Equally if I fall ill, or am not well enough to carry out a treatment. I will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible and will re-schedule your appointment.

PAYMENT

I can also generate an invoice if your place of work has a wellness scheme.

Payment is required in full upon booking (but no money is taken until after your session has finished.)

If you are doing a block booking in advance these need to be paid in full.

CONSULTATION

Before each treatment you will need to fill out an online consultation form as this helps me get an overview of your general health. It also gives me an oversight so that I can adapt your treatment accordingly if needed..

If contacting your GP , Oncology team or any other Hospital Care team is deemed necessary for further advice before proceeding with a treatment then I will be in touch with you. This is to ensure that your wellbeing needs are met from a safe place. Reiki however can be given and received regardless of your current medical condition as it doesn’t interfere with medications or treatments. The only exclusion from Reiki is Epilepsy which will require GP consent as some studies show deep relaxation may be a possible trigger.

MARKETING

Purely optional and within GDPR guidelines. My ‘Meadowsweet letters’ are a joy to receive. It can also be a useful way to keep up to date with what I offer at Meadowsweet Wellbeing. Naturally you are able to unsubscribe at anytime. Particularly useful as I don’t often post on my social media channels.

PRIVACY & DATA

As mentioned above I do offer a sign up to my newsletter here on my website. There are also options to click to receive marketing and appointment notifications on the consultation form. You always have the option to unsubscribe at any time. I do not share your information with anyone else. In rare circumstances that your next of kin or a GP needs to be contacted for your own health and safety, and you are awake and conscious then this is always done with full consent from you before proceeding.

Client consultation details are kept online at iPEGS ( which I used prior to me switching to Fresha) I now use Fresha to record appointments and notes. They do not get shared with third parties or anyone but myself. I respect that you are offering me information about your health & lifestyle so that I can best treat your needs to gain optimum wellbeing benefits and take what you share with me in utmost confidence.
